The header is designed to use the stock heat shield with minor trimming, so no header wrap is needed for a clean looking, low maintenance installation. We highly suggest the use of the Dynojet Power Commander 6 Fuel and Ignition controller with this header, and we have a custom map tuned specifically for our header and muffler combo. The PC6 allows us to maximize performance by tuning the fuel injection and ignition timing parameters, as well as re-setting the rev limiter to a safe and reliable 8500 RPM which will give you more top end speed compared to the stock 7750 or 8000 rpm rev limits.
