This set up is designed to create a flat rail profile which improves traction and helps stabilize the sled for higher horsepower drag racing and lake racing applications. These machines can be tough to keep straight and stable under hard acceleration and higher speeds when they ride back on the bent portion of the rail profile, and this kit reduces the teeter-totter effect to keep the machine planted and put the power to the ground. Aftermarket rail kits can run up to $ 1100.00, but this kit is almost half the price and keeps a stock appearance by utilizing the original rails and wheels.
