This Lighweight Polycarbonate Hood and Intake combo is 8.55 lbs lighter than stock and is the best option for eliminating bogging issues in deep snow conditions on the Boost models. On top of that it, also drops air intake temps dramatically which makes these rocketships perform even better. On a 30 second run the stock intake temps climb to 145 degrees very easily, but the temps drop 30 degrees in back-to-back tests with this hood and intake setup. This improves powerand overall performance, and reduces the chance of throwing codes that are intake temp related. Simply put, this is the lightest, best breathing, and best performing hood and intake combo on the market. Works with standard and 7S gauges and comes in a gloss black finish. 850 NA and 9R applications coming soon. 

Available in an unassembled racer kit or a pre-assembled version for easier installation. Both versions include the lightweight hood, molded air intake plenum, a silicone coupler, clamps, and aluminum tube to connect the plenum to the stock turbo intake tube, rivets and back-up washers, and a custom FrogZskin mesh vent cover. Assembled version will have the intake plenum trimmed and riveted on, and top of the hood routered and FrogZskin installed. Forward facing vents are not drilled or routered in either version to allow you to customize it to your liking. The stock air intake base can be used with this hood, but we prefer to remove it for more air flow, less weight, and more room under the hood- this requires our aluminum ECU Mounting Bracket- see related products below.

NOTE: If you purchase the unassembled hood, there are no instructions included and we cannot provide technical assistance with the assembly procedures. If you're not sure if you have the ability to assemble it yourself, order the assembled option.
