Lynx Boondocker & Shredder Upgrade & Fitment Guide

Freshies Built stocks upgrades for Lynx mountain and crossover sleds: Boondocker, Shredder and Rave, with the 850 E-TEC and 850 E-TEC Turbo R engines. Lynx sleds share a lot with Ski-Doo Gen 4 and Gen 5, so this guide also points out the parts we list for both. It's sorted by what each part does, so you can build your sled in the right order. Not sure what fits yours? Send us your model year and model and we'll confirm before you order.

Step 1: Know which Lynx you have

Before you order, check:

  • Model: Boondocker, Shredder or Rave. Seat covers, rails and some shocks are listed by model.
  • Engine: 850 E-TEC or 850 E-TEC Turbo R. Exhaust is listed separately for each, and by model year.
  • Chassis generation and track: Gen 4 or Gen 5 platform, and track length (for example 3900 / 154 or 4100 / 165). Rear bumpers are listed by track length.

Lynx upgrade FAQ

What should I upgrade first on a Lynx Boondocker or Shredder?

Most riders start with weight and control: a lightweight muffler, risers and a bar that fit you, plus shocks set up for how you ride. Then add front-end parts, like A-arms or IceAge Elevate, for steering in deep snow.

Do Ski-Doo parts fit my Lynx?

Often. Many listings, such as ZBROZ A-arms and ski shocks, IceAge Elevate, Fire 'N Ice intake vents, BMfabrication Gen 5 front bumpers and some GGB exhaust, name both Ski-Doo and Lynx. If a listing names only Ski-Doo, contact us before ordering for a Lynx.

Which exhaust fits a Lynx 850 Turbo R?

We list GGB mountain, trail and quiet mufflers for the 2023–2024 Lynx 850 E-TEC Turbo R. The non-turbo 850 E-TEC and the 2022 Boondocker / Rave have their own GGB mufflers, so match the engine and year in the title.

How do I confirm fitment before I order?

Check the model years, engine and model in the product title. If you're unsure, contact us with your model year, model and track length and we'll confirm.
