Bikeman Performance custom secondary clutch helix (SKU 05-TSS-08) for Polaris Patriot Boost Short Track/Trail snowmobiles with TSS-04 style secondary clutches. Custom-machined for turbocharged trail machines, it tunes secondary shift curves for stronger holeshots, mid-range pull, and top-end speed. Higher belt side-pressure under throttle reduces belt slip and heat, which can extend belt life, and backshift is smoother in tight turns. CNC-machined from high-strength aerospace aluminum. Fitment requires small OEM clutch rollers, as used on Polaris sleds through the 2020 model year. Polaris 2021+ Patriot Boost models with the larger OEM rollers are not compatible and must be converted to small rollers. Listed fits (small rollers): Switchback Assault Boost 144, Indy VR1 Boost (129/137), and Indy Boost 2022+. A lightweight version (SKU 05-TSS-08C) sheds almost 20% rotational mass.
