Primary Clutch Spring (170-300) for Polaris Patriot Boost trail sleds, SKU 05-170-300. Fitment: designed only for Polaris Patriot Boost trail sleds (Indy Boost, Switchback Boost, VR1 Boost). It does NOT fit RMK mountain models. Bikeman Performance spring for dialing in engagement RPM and holding target shift power. The primary spring controls initial clutch engagement and how the primary clutch shifts out under high boost on wide-open trail runs. Spring rate: 170 lb initial load and 300 lb finish load, giving positive engagement and enough force to hold peak RPM without over-revving or fading. Made from premium high-tensile spring steel that resists heat sag and fatigue.
