Bikeman Performance 140-220 Secondary Clutch Spring (SKU 05-TP140-220), a secondary driven clutch spring that controls backshift speed, sheave side-pressure (belt clamp), and upshift resistance. 140 lb initial load and 220 lb finish load. The initial rate gives quick backshift response, and the finish rate gives balanced resistance during full shift-out. Firm side pressure on the driven sheaves helps prevent belt slippage and heat, which can extend belt life. Made from precision-wound high-tensile alloy steel that resists heat-induced sag and rate loss. Designed to pair with Bikeman custom-cut helixes and SNYPR adjustable weights.
