Bikeman Performance Secondary Driven Clutch Spring (160-260). Built for strong backshift and high belt clamping under heavy horsepower or track loads. The driven spring controls belt pinch and backshift, setting how quickly the machine downshifts back into its powerband when throttle is modulated in deep snow, steep climbs, or aggressive riding. It has a 160 lb initial load and a 260 lb finish load. The stiffer profile applies heavy side pressure to the secondary sheaves, holding high-torque engines in the belt and cutting friction heat. The higher finish rate speeds backshift and resists premature upshifting under high resistance. Made from high-tensile spring steel that resists heat sag and rate loss.
