IceAge Ski-Doo Gen5 ADAPT Summit/Freeride Rails (2023+)

IceAge ADAPT rails for the Ski-Doo Gen5 Summit and Freeride, 2023 and newer. This is the complete package IceAge requires with the ADAPT rails: the rails, the ADAPT-specific limiter strap and the Ultralight rail brace kit.

The ADAPT rail gives you two front track shock positions, so you can set the skid up for how you ride:

• P1 (ADAPT): lighter steering, less ski pressure, more playful and responsive to rider input.
• P2: more ski pressure for steep, deep terrain and climbing.

Works with stock spindles, and is designed to work even better with IceAge Elevate spindles.

Construction

• Cut from 7000 series aluminum on IceAge's lightweight extrusion for maximum strength and minimal weight.
• Two-tone machined and black anodized finish.
• Arm spacing is the same for 146-175" Summit and Freeride models, so you can stretch or shorten your skid either direction.
• Precise side-hilling in steep terrain with controlled playfulness.

What's included

• 2 ADAPT rails, 2 hyfax, hardware and instructions
• ADAPT limiter strap for BRP. Pick the version that matches your sled: factory externally adjustable (tunnel-adjustable) strap, or factory fixed-length strap.
• IceAge Ultralight rail brace kit: 2 braces, mounting hardware and rubber bump stops. IceAge requires the brace with ADAPT rails; it reinforces the rear bump stop area, the weak point of the Gen5 skid.

Wheels

• 154" and 165" rails are cut for 9" rear idler wheels. If your sled has stock wheels you will need a pair of IceAge HELLFIRE-HD 9" wheels. No extra axle is needed, though IceAge recommends a 2-wheel axle kit (20mm slot for Gen5) for strength.
• 146" and 147" rails are cut for the stock 8" wheels.

• Lengths: 146, 147, 154, 165
• Stock rear idler wheels and axle carry over on 146/147. 154 and longer need 9" wheels (see above).

IT IS IMPORTANT TO FILE/GRIND THE TRANSITION OF THE HYFAX/SLIDES TO THE RAIL TIPS TO ENSURE THERE IS NOT A LIP ON THE FRONT EDGE OF THE HYFAX FOR TRACK CLIPS TO CATCH

Warning: Do not powder coat or apply any coating that requires a bake process. Baking removes the rail's temper, weakens it significantly and voids all warranties.
