These ROCK Performance Rollers by Black Diamond are made from a special hard compound composite that reduces friction and wear. When the stock nylon rollers are exposed to extreme heat and pressure experienced when riding in deep powder or racing they become soft and skid instead of rolling. The hard compound composite of these ROCK performance rollers is able to withstand twice the heat, allowing them to move freely and efficiently even in the most extreme conditions.
